Welcome to Writing Wild Proofreading!

Whether you’re writing a book, screenplay, poem, blog post, letter, or play, you need proofreading. Writers are often too close to their work to see mistakes. I know because I am a writer. I can read my novel over and over and still skim over a misspelled word, punctuation errors, or spacing issues.

I am committed to ensuring that your writing project is mistake-free and consistent in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I work with both indie and traditionally published authors, bloggers, short-story writers, playwrights, screenwriters and more.

Testimonial from bestselling crime writer Garry Rodgers

Lisa from Writing Wild Proofreading has an exceptionally sharp eye and excellent writing craft knowledge. I use electronic editing software like Grammarly and Autocrit for polishing my drafts, but there’s no replacing the human element that Lisa brings to the writing game. Regardless of your work – fiction, non-fiction or otherwise – Lisa will improve your product and leave you with a professional piece. I highly recommend Lisa and Writing Wild Proofreading. If you write it – she’ll right it.  ~Garry Rodgers, Best Selling Crime Writer and Deadly Blogger

About Me:

Publishing a book, blog post, story, etc. with mistakes in it suks. (See what I did there?) I have author’s books on my bookshelf, some self-published and some traditionally published, that have misspellings and grammatical errors. Every time I come across something like that I cringe and it takes me out of the story or whatever it was they were trying to get across. Don’t let that happen to you.

I want to build a relationship with you. My goal is to help you get your work out into the world with zero mistakes. I want readers to focus on your material, not be sidetracked by errors.

I am:

  • extremely attentive to details.
  • excellent with deadlines.
  • able to maintain the style, tone, flow, voice, and overall integrity of editorial content.
  • a good problem-solver who is flexible and communicates well.
